You'll never believe what happened next .....

After just 3 hours sleep, Sparkling Alice & Wolf Girl were up & having breakfast ... ready to see Eclipse again at the local IMAX cinema at 10am ... & it was even better in IMAX, if that is possible ...!

This is the huge bill-board that's about two doors down from our motel in Woodland Hills ... what a beautiful sight to wake up to each morning ...

When they returned to the motel, after seeing Eclipse for the second time, Sparkling Alice decided she needed to cool down ...

Later, that afternoon, Sparkling Alice & Wolf Girl were first in the audience queue for Peter Facinelli on the Jimmy Kimmel Live talkshow, & were rewarded with seats in the second row ...

As they were leaving the studios after taping, however ...

Wolf Girl was getting all hot & bothered for a completely different reason .....

... oh, & before you ask ... no, this photo has not been photoshopped ...! Sparkling Alice made the ultimate sacrifice ... & took the photo on her mobile ...!

Time ...!

Finally ... it's time for the Eclipse ...!

Sparkling Alice & Wolf Girl had planned a lie-in this morning, to make sure that they were refreshed enough to stay awake until the wee small hours watching the Twilight Trilogy ... unfortunately, the un-named person who had had the room before us, very kindly left the alarm set for 7am! So they went on another small shopping expedition again, to check out more luggage ... just incase!

Then they grabbed their tickets for the Twilight Trilogy & hot-footed it down to the Century 8 Cinema in North Hollywood to join the queue at around 4pm ...

As they waited patiently to be let in for the 7.15pm start of Twilight ... a nice lady came round & gave everyone free Eclipse badges ... & someone in front of us in the queue commented on our rather fetching designer Primarni shoes ...!





Once inside ... we stocked up enough nachos, chocolate chip cookies, ice-cream & drinks, to feed a small army (of newborns) ...!

... & although it was quite tiring ... we soon woke up when Eclipse came on ... the movie is awesome ... can't wait to see it again in IMAX tomorrow ...!

The countdown is on ...

With less than 9 hours remaining until they are due to attend the showing of the Twilight Trilogy ... Sparkling Alice & Wolf Girl pop down to Target to stock up on enough provisions to last them through the entire 6 hours ...

... & yes, Sarah, those are cheesy balls ...!!!

Fame at last ...!

We may have forgotten to mention that when we were on our movie locations tour in Vancouver, Christine asked us to take part in a testamonial video - this is because we never envisaged it would see the light of day on the internet. Lunch & a shopping expedition .....

After what had been a very busy weekend, Sparkling Alice & Wolf Girl managed to grab a short lie-in today, before driving from Anaheim to Woodland Hills, where they will be staying for 4 nights.

Unfortunately, this meant that they almost missed breakfast & by the time they got there, there was very little left ... so they made a bee-line to Denny's for lunch ... where Alice had a Mushroom Swiss Burger (which was the size of a small Swiss mountain!)

The duo then decided to try to walk off some of the calories with a short shopping expedition ... after all ... there couldn't possibly be much Twilight / Eclipse stuff that they hadn't already got ... could there .....?

... & yes ... this is just today's haul ...! ;o)

Touristy stuff continued .....

Having spent Saturday evening in Fantasyland ... & finally getting to bed a little after 1am, Sparkling Alice & Wolf Girl were up, packed & on the road back to LA by 9am, to spend the day in a completely different sort of fantasyland ...

Part way through the day, Sparkling Alice wondered, not for the first time, why exactly she had yet again let Wolf Girl talk her into getting on a scary ride ...? Especially those where it is almost impossible to stay dry!

Whilst waiting in front of Cinderella's castle for the Street Party Parade to begin, Sparkling Alice discovered an unwelcome flaw with her designer Primarni shoes ... the soles start to melt in extreme temperatures ...!

At the end of a very tiring day, Sparkling Alice & Wolf Girl were treated to a fabulous firework display, before they left to find their motel just a few minutes away ...




... having managed a whole day of non-Twilight related activities ...!

Almost as cold as vampires ...

Some 12 hours after they had started queuing, Sparkling Alice & Wolf Girl finally settled down on their beach towels to watch Twilight & New Moon in the open-air ...



Unfortunately, it had been a pretty cloudy day in San Diego, and before long, Sparkling Alice was complaining about her damp bottom ... & Wolf Girl was wishing she'd brought her furry jacket, as the temperature plummeted! However, they were both determined to stick it out through Twilight, & then at least until Jacob took his T-shirt off in New Moon ... hoping that would warm them up ...!

In the event, they both managed to endure the discomfort & make it through both films, before taking a few photos & saying goodbye to their new friends ...

After walking the mile or so back to their hotel, Sparkling Alice was amazed to discover that Wolf Girl had managed to attract quite a severed amount of sunburn, on what was undoubtedly the least sunny day they had seen since they arrived in the USA ..!

The stars are out in San Diego .....

After over 9 hours of waiting & rumoured promises of a "meet & greet" for the first 60 in line ... queue rage was in danger of breaking out when fans who strolled up late in the day joined their friends ahead of us in the queue .....

However, all thoughts of lack of sleep were fogotten once we got inside Petco Park & were given our free Eclipse T-shirts! Other booths were giving out more freebies & taking photos ... so despite concerns over weights limits ... Sparkling Alice & Wolf Girl collected a tote bag & badge each ...!

The audience was entertained by a local band called War Stories, and then at around 7pm the main event started with an Eclipse sneak peak trailer, plus a bit of behind the scenes footage ... & then Angela (Christian Serratos) turned up looking stunning ... closely followed by Carlisle (Peter Facinelli), who looked too darn hot for his own good ...!

Sparkling Alice & Wolf Girl waited patiently at the barrier with Chas W, & were eventually rewarded with Peter signing their Cullen baseballs ... which made him do a double-take, before he asked if we were Australian ...! He obviously didn't recognise us from Thursday night ...

this may actually be a good thing ... as if he'd recognised us for a third time at the Jimmy Kimmel show on Wednesday ... he would probably have applied for a restraining order .....

... so just to make you really jealous ... here are our most prized possessions .....

New day ... new city ... new friends ...

Despite only being able to sleep for about 2 hours ... Wolf Girl was up at the crack of dawn ... worried about the length of the queue that could already be forming down at Petco Park for the Twilight Night ...


However, when they arrived at the entrance at 8am ... Sparkling Alice & Wolf Girl were delighted to find themselves only about 30th in the queue ...!



After a few introductions ... we found that we had a lot in common with those around us ... as if that should be a surprise ...!


Special thanx should go to Chasity, who only living about 10 minutes away from the park, popped home to collect her New Moon board game ... which we then proceeded to play for 4 hours whilst sitting on the pavement waiting ...





Further thanx are due to Maria, Valerie & Brenda who very kindly arranged for a Mexican lunch to be delivered for our group, so that we could keep our strength up for the big event ...




However, it soon became apparent that others in the queue were becoming a little bored ...

just look what happens when you leave Twilight fans unattended for long periods of time ...

Vampire succumbs to sleep deprivation ...

Sparkling Alice & Wolf Girl realised that trainee vampires actually do need to sleep ... otherwise they forget to blog things .....

Back at Universal Studios, Sparkling Alice yet again wondered why on earth she had listened to Wolf Girl ... when half way around the House of Horrors, they were cornered by Frankinstein ... who seemed reluctant to let them leave ......

Eventually, they managed to escape his clutches ... & Sparkling Alice has vowed that this is the last time that she will follow Wolf Girl blindly on to any attraction that has a warning symbol at the entrance .....!

Later, during a pit stop ... Sparkling Alice mused about the appropriateness of adding a minor to her "Hot Men" list ... as having seen him in the flesh at the Red Carpet Event, she had Googled Cameron Bright's age, only to discover that he's still only 17!

Despite trying to have a non-Twilight related day doing touristy stuff, Sparkling Alice & Wolf Girl still managed to track down a rather nice Team Switzerland T-shirt ... but still couldn't locate any Vampire Diaries goodies ...

After purchasing said apparel, your intrepid reporters left Universal around 7pm to head down to San Diego for the Twilight Night on Saturday, where they'd heard Peter Facinelli & Edi Gathegi would be making guest appearances ... surely we couldn't get lucky again .....?

However, after making good time down to San Diego, Alice's powers started to fade ... & we had a rather scenic route to our Best Western Hotel .... having first had to call (rather embarrassingly) at the Days Inn to ask for directions ...!

Touristy stuff .....

Despite a very late night after the excitement (& blogging) of the Eclipse Red Carpet Event .....

our intrepid duo were up early in an attempt to finally do something non-Twilight related ...

a visit to Universal Studios in Hollywood!

First off they went on the Studio Tour ...

but their tram got attacked by Jaws ...!

... so they stopped off at Edie Britt's on Wisteria Lane to recover ...

Meanwhile ... Sparkling Alice was having serious hair issues caused by the misting fans, so helpfully provided to keep visitors cool ...

... little did she realise how insignificant this would be in comparison to the log flume that Wolf Girl had persuaded her to queue for by saying that you should try everything at least once ...

... & the Waterworld show ... where the actors, not content with throwing buckets of water over the audience, then proceeded to drence them with water canons ..!

The lady driving the boat in the show was Bella's stunt double from the Twilight Saga movies ...

oh no ... this was supposed to be a non-Twilight related blog ...!

Daddy Cullen gives us a mission ...

To top off what was a truly wonderful experience ...



Peter Facinelli (aka Carlisle) came over & signed both of our Eclipse books ...



... & had a short conversation with us ... during which when he found out we were from the UK, he asked us to find the guy who bit him ....!

oh my god ... Oh My God ... OH MY GOD!!!

Sparkling Alice & Wolf Girl 's patience was finally repaid, when they realised that they were only actually some 6 feet away from the stars as they came along the line to sign autographs.

Twilight Saga : Eclipse Premiere ... the wait is on ...

Having obtained their Red Carpet wristbands & been told to come back at 2pm Thursday ... Sparkling Alice & Wolf Girl went along to the Nokia Theatre at 11am ... just to be on the safe side ....

By 3pm Alice wasn't quite so Sparkling, but had secured her place in line ... & made lots of new friends ...

Eventually around 4.20pm, Sparkling Alice & Wolf Girl took their seats ....

yes ... we were some of the lucky few that actually got to sit on the bleachers opposite where the stars got out of their limos ...

this was the view we enjoyed ....!

Sparkling Alice & Wolf Girl hit Hollywood ...

Sparkling Alice & Wolf Girl spent this morning cruising up & down Sunset trying to locate THAT Calvin Klein billboard ... we're sure you'll know which one we're referring to ..!

They were sadly disappointed when they were later advised that the billboard had actually been removed some time ago ... but it was 2 hours well spent as we did see a Vampire Diaries one & a True Blood one, plus we ended up driving down Rodeo Drive!

Eventually they arrived on Hollywood Blvd, & had lunch at the Pig & Whistle, before taking a look at the foot & hand prints at Grauman's Chinese Theatre ...

Finally it was time to go see Ashley Greene live on the Jimmy Kimmel show .....

we were so excited, we queued for 2 hours ... but we were only 3rd in line ... & had an amazing view ... she truly is a beautiful young lady!

Can't wait to see Peter Facinelli next week .....
(& we've just applied for tickets to see Kellan too ...)

STOP PRESS info for the Twilight Tour

In light of recent information gleaned from a reputable source, Sparkling Alice & Wolf Girl have now amended their itinerary to include a short hop down to San Diego (some 120 miles south of their current location) .....
where Summit are hosting a Twilight Night at the Petco Park, with guest appearances by some of the cast members ...!

We will be travelling down on Friday night ... ready to report back to you on Saturday night's event .... assuming we get in as it's on a first come, first served basis ...!

WE LOVE LA!!!

Sparkling Alice & Wolf Girl finally arrived in LA & got a taxi to their hotel ...

you can just imagine Alice's delight when on entering the hotel lobby, she spotted Edward's grand piano ...!












The bonus is that our hotel is only a 5 minute walk away from the Nokia Theatre ... so as soon as we'd collected our car, we went to check out 'tent city' ...

& we thought we were mad..!

As they were nosing around taking photographs ...

Wolf Girl noticed a security man behind a barrier giving out information to a couple of girls ...

so purely in the interests of factual reporting back to our loyal readers ... we went over to investigate further ...








... & to our delight, we managed to acquire... two wristbands allowing us access to the Red Carpet Area for Thursday night's premiere ...

& no camping out was required ...

tho we do have to remember to get there by Thursday lunchtime ... as if it would slip our minds ...!
